It's been a few years since we've had the opportunity to sit down with John O'Callaghan from The Maine. The band's fans received good news recently when they announced the official release date of their upcoming album 'American Candy' for March 31, 2015, and as an added bonus they were treated to the first single off of the record, 'English Girls.' The new single has a very upbeat tone to it and takes us back a bit to their early years, but it has an edge to it that speaks to their maturity and some of the roads they've been down over the years. More than anything, you can hear in John's voice how content and accomplished he feels with this new album, and we had a great conversation about it. Well worth a listen.

Vocal sensation JULIET SIMMS has been a favorite of ours since she was fronting The Automatic Loveletter, though many were first introduced to her through her time on The Voice. A lot has happened in her career throughout the years but one thing is for sure.....she's an incredible talent. We were very excited to learn of her recent EP release, 'All Or Nothing.' She really gets to stretch her vocal chops on this record, and we love each and every track. She took time recently to have a long chat with us about the record, her time on The Voice, the music industry as a whole and more.
Wes Cage recently released his solo debut album 'Prehistoric Technology' on January 29, 2015. It definitely impressed us with it's haunting themes and intense vocals. Wes is an exceptionally talented guy with credits in acting, writing, producing, composing, singing and is an accomplished martial artist. There isn't much he can't do, and he was nice enough to chat with me about all of it recently.
Be sure to check Wes Cage out on social media, and definitely pick up his album on iTunes!
L.A. hard rockers IN URGENCY took time out of their busy schedule to chat with us recently. They recently released their self-titled EP as well as a new music video for their single 'Stitches,' which we fell in love with immediately. They are definitely getting a lot of buzz right now, so it's our pleasure to introduce them to our listeners.
Coat Check Girl is an L.A. based rock band that caught our attention recently for their ability to blend alternative, metal and hard rock into a sound that grabs you and holds your attention. CCG is made up of brothers Andre and Alejandro Rodriguez, Toby Harmans and Allan Carnevalle, and they have taken their passion for music and experiences of growing up amongst political unrest and created a sound that I can only explain as unhinged ferociousness.
I was able to speak with lead vocalist Andre Rodriguez recently about the band's beginnings and their innovative debut album. Be sure to check out their new video for 'Lose Control' on BlankTV, and give them some likes on Facebook.
I had the pleasure recently of speaking with critically acclaimed EDM artist and DJ Audrey Napoleon. Aside from having continued success in her music career, Audrey recently collaborated with Ardency Inn on a new makeup line that is available exclusively at Sephora and Urban Outfitters.
If you haven't been introduced to CROBOT yet, you have been seriously missing out. Equal parts rock, blues, grunge and just pure musical finesse,Crobot is a band that hooked us from the first listen, and if you are a fan of bands like Soundgarden and Queens of the Stoneage you will thank us for introducing you to them.
I had the pleasure of speaking with guitarist Chris Bishop from the band this week regarding their new release 'Something Supernatural.' Enjoy the interview and be sure to check out the band on social media as well.
Brad Carter is a talented actor, musician, and inspirational viral video star. He is currently seen on the final season of Sons Of Anarchy, played a riveting role on the first season of True Detective, has a miniseries and three movies coming up, and an album to be released soon as well. On top of all that, he is an incredibly nice guy (despite some of the roles he plays).
We spoke to Brad recently about all of the above, and you can check out the full interview here. Give him some love on the web as well.
We were very honored to have the opportunity to talk with Fabian Manzano from BOYCE AVENUE recently. We have been familiar with this talented trio for some time now, and if you haven't heard of them before then you must take a moment to become acquainted with them yourself.
With YouTube now one of the best ways for up and coming artists to promote their own music, Boyce Avenue has led the way for countless others by performing flawless covers of popular songs and drawing billions.....yes, billions of viewers to their channel. They are currently the third most viewed band on YouTube, and while their covers are truly amazing their original music is equally great. I spoke with Fabian about their beginnings, their YouTube success, touring and more.
(please note, this was recorded on a third party connection, so please bear with any static issues)

Scientist is an alternative pop duo out of Austin, TX consisting of Brandon DuBois and Jesse Schaefer. They are proud nerds to the core, but aside from that they are a couple of very talented artists. They recently released their 'World EP: Mobile Lab Remix' and debuted their music video for 'Deep Down, Soul Glow Activatur Remix' to great reviews. The minute we saw the video, we knew we had to talk to them.
I spoke with Jesse Schaefer about the EP, "The Experiment," among other things this past week. Check out the interview here, and be sure to hit them up on Facebook. You can also find the purchase link for the EP below.
